Wendy Williams is speaking out in a major interview on The Breakfast Club on Thursday morning (January 16). If you were unaware, she was placed under a guardianship in 2022. Earlier this year, it was reported that she was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia and aphasia and was declared “permanently incapacitated” by her guardian. About the diagnoses she was publicly given, the 60-year-old former talk show host asked the hosts DJ Envy, Charlamagne Tha God and Jess Hilarious, “Do I seem that way, god damn it?” Keep reading to find out more… She’s currently living in a care facility where she is able to make calls, but not receive calls. She doesn’t have access to the Internet, and she no longer has her beloved cats. “This is what is called emotional abuse,” Wendy said. She added, “I am not cognitively impaired, you know what I’m saying? But I feel like I’m in prison. I’m in this place where the people are in their 90s and their 80s and their 70s … There’s something wrong with these people here on this floor.” “What do I think about being abused? Look, this system is broken, this system that I’m in. This system has falsified a lot,” she continued. The interview comes a few weeks after Wendy quietly stepped out for a very special day.
