Titles were at stake and grudges were settled as the All Elite roster landed in St. Louis, MO for AEW Dynasty.

We kick off our women’s action for the night as TBS Champion Julia Hart defends her title against No.1 Contender Willow Nightingale in a House Rules match. Nightingale arrives in tow with Kris Statlander, but due to the rules of the match is banned from ringside. Likewise, Hart will not have the support of Skye Blue in her corner, making the odds even.

Nightingale takes a shot right at Hart to start the match off strong, but the two end up on the outside and Hart manages to gain the advantage. The two go back and forth between holds, and Hart is trying to prowess through Nightingale’s power. Hart goes for a moonsault, but Nightingale gets her legs up to counter. Nightingale hits the Babe with the Powerbomb and pins Hart to become the new TBS Champion!

Statlander and Stokely Hathaway arrive to celebrate this win, but this party is cut short as The CEO herself, Mercedes Moné, takes the spotlight. Moné congratulates the new champion, but her sights are set on winning that TBS Championship come Double or Nothing.

We later see the AEW Women’s World Championship be contended as the champion “Timeless” Toni Storm defends against Thunder Rosa.

Storm arrives in very heavy makeup, but as the match starts, Rosa unmasks and is without her usual face paint. Rosa starts the match off strong, and hits a tornado crossbody off the top rope to the outside to Storm and Luther. Her protege Mariah May is of course closely keeping an eye out on Rosa.

Storm makes it back to the ring and gains back control for a while, however, Rosa pulls out every move of her arsenal to take her out. The match takes a turn for both as Rosa hits a Death Valley Driver on the apron. The two find openings in both their offense and the two are highly physical throughout the rest of the match.

May attempts to make a distraction, but Deonna Purazzo comes in to stop the interference, and the two end up brawling toward the backstage. Storm hits the Storm Zero, and surprisingly powers through it.

The two are desperate and want to make each other tap out. However, Storm pulls on the ring apron. With the referee distracted, Storm hits a low blow and another Storm Zero to retain her title.

How will the next couple of weeks play out for Nightingale and Moné? Who is next in line for Toni? Let us know what you thought of AEW Dynasty!
