IMG Credit: WWEAgain? Retirement is a tricky subject in wrestling as a wrestler can always jump back into the ring for one more match. There are some wrestlers who have retired so many times over the years that it has become something of a running joke for them. At the same time, those wrestlers are often attempting to get back in the ring one more time, which is what another legend wants to do.

During an interview with Five Star Wrestling, WWE Hall Of Famer Ric Flair was asked about potentially having one more match. Flair said that he did have one more match in him, though there was nothing to indicate that such a match is in the works. Flair also said that he wanted to wrestle in AEW but company president Tony Khan would not allow it once he found out that Flair was on blood thinners. Back in July 20222, Flair, now 75 years old, wrestled what was advertised as his last match.

Opinion: This would be in the category of “please don’t do this”, as the 2022 match was pretty much a disaster. There comes a point where someone should not be allowed to get back in the ring and we have long passed that point with Flair. It isn’t good for his health and safety, or the health and safety of those in there with him. Flair can appear in wrestling, but he does not need to be getting back in the ring whatsoever.
