Bad Blood is returning to the WWE event calendar.

WWE confirmed Bad Blood will take place at the State Farm Arena on October 5. Cody Rhodes and hip-hop producer Metro Boomin made the announcement in a pre-taped teaser, seen below:

The 2024 event is the fourth Bad Blood event in WWE history, and first since 2004. This year’s event will also take place seventeen years to the day of the original Bad Blood event (spelled Badd Blood), which saw the debut of Kane in the Hell In A Cell match between Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker.

In June, Mike Johnson of PWInsider reported there were pitches to bring back the Bad Blood name as a Premium Live Event. In addition, the idea was to use the name as a way to tie-in the anniversary of the Michaels/Undertaker match.
