Cora Jade will be sidelined for the foreseeable future.
At the NXT live event on January 12, Cora Jade suffered an apparent injury. Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer then reported that she had sustained a torn ACL. During the January 16 episode of WWE NXT, the broadcast team confirmed the injury and noted that Jade was expected to be out of action for nearly a year.
Jade then commented on the injury in a tweet. She wrote that, “It is only after we’ve lost everything that we are free to do anything.”
Jade had recently made her return to NXT following a lengthy absence. She “left” the show on the August 1 episode of NXT, and she was not seen again until she appeared at NXT Deadline on December 9.
On behalf of WrestleZone, we wish Cora Jade well in her recovery. WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
