R-Truth is not an official member of the Judgment Day stable, but he may be getting closer. Truth has a ton of fans, and they are showing their support by buying up his merchandise. This was not lost on WWE as they made reference to it during this week’s show.
During the January 15th episode of WWE RAW, Daminan Priest approached R-Truth about selling bootleg Judgment Day merchandise in the parking lot. This was an issue, until Truth gave Priest his cut. This changed his tune.
That skit was an obvious reference to how well R-Truth’s WWE merchandise is selling. Fans are reacting to this storyline with the Judgment Day, because it is very entertaining.
R-Truth also has a new running comedy bit, one where he has Dominik Mysterio’s name confused. It seems that he thinks Dominik is two people, “Tom and Nick Mysterio.” He has yet to meet both of them at the same time. That has a new t-shirt, too.
R-Truth’s merchandise sales shot up last week, knocking CM Punk off the top spot. This was not lost on WWE at all, and they made no secret about making reference to the cut that Judgment Day is getting for those sales, either.
We will have to see what is next for R-Truth and Judgment Day. This is an interesting situation, and it’s anyone’s guess how it will turn out next. Keep checking back with us here at Ringside News for more.
