WWE had lot of things on the table for this week’s episode of RAW. Little Rock, Arkansas was quite snowy, but the action was on fire all night for fans. It appears that Seth Rollins retaining the title was always the option.

Seth Rollins beat Jinder Mahal in the main event of WWE RAW this week. He also was able to avoid Damian Priest cashing in, thanks to Drew McIntyre who took Priest out. Those two pieces to the puzzle were never supposed to be legit contenders on Monday.

Sean Sapp noted behind Fightful’s paywall that at no point was Jinder Mahal or a Damian Priest cash-in ever on the table creatively. This was always the plan, and the executed it.

“We’re told that there was never consideration given to having Jinder Mahal win or a Damian Priest cash-in for WWE Raw.”

Jinder Mahal has a ton of momentum and motivation right now. His name trended and he wants that high again. Only time will tell if the Modern Day Maharaja is able to step up to that level again any time soon.
