WWE NXT Featured An In-Depth Look At Darkstate

On WWE NXT, Darkstate finally revealed its members after weeks of chaos. The faction, made up of Dion Lennox, Osiris Griffin, Cutler James, and Saquon Shugars, had been terrorizing the roster.

Darkstate first struck at WWE NXT Vengeance Day, ambushing NXT Tag Team Champions Fraxiom and their challengers, Josh Briggs and Yoshiki Inamura, after their title match. Later on the show, they attacked NXT Champion Oba Femi.

Since then, Darkstate has continued its rampage, clashing with Tony D’Angelo and The Family in recent weeks. On this week’s NXT, The D’Angelo Family got some background updates on each member of the Darkstate.

Luca Crusifino handed Tony D’Angelo a report, revealing Dion Lennox as a former Oregon State linebacker with a psychology degree who used a bookworm gimmick to hide his true nature. Osiris Griffin, a dominant Syracuse All-American, once broke his quarterback’s ribs.

Cutler James, an elite Duke wrestler, specializes in breaking opponents mentally and physically. Saquon Shugars, the wild card, a smooth talker and charmer who turned down Harvard. Tony D’Angelo calls them badass and reassures the Family, telling them to trust him because he’ll figure out how to handle Darkstate.

Following this, it seems that Tony D’Angelo and The Family and Darkstate could potentially face off at WWE NXT Stand & Deliver.
