WWE NXT is back on the road for another episode of their Tuesday night show before 2024 comes to a close.
WWE announced this morning in a press release that NXT will go back out on the road for an episode of their television show on December 17 at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium in Lowell, Massachusetts.
This will be the first time NXT has returned to Lowell since the Battleground premium live event in May 2023.
If this venue sounds familiar to you as an NXT historian, there’s a good reason for that. This is the same venue where Samoa Joe shocked the world and defeated Finn Balor for the NXT Championship at a house show. A match that Balor told WrestleZone was one of the favorite moments of his career.
“Great question. I’m just gonna go with my favorite match of my career,” Finn Balor said. “I don’t know if it necessarily represents my work the best, but the emotion I felt in the match in Lowell, Massachusetts on a house show against Samoa Joe where I lost the NXT Championship was one of the most alive feelings I have felt in a ring. That for me certainly sticks out about one of my favorite moments from my career.”
Tickets for this event go on sale November 20 at 10 AM EST.
