WWE NXT Viewership Dips On 1/23, Demo Stays Level

WWE NXT viewership was down on January 23.

Wrestlenomics reports that 642,000 viewers tuned in on Tuesday. This number is down from last week, when 683,000 viewers watched the show. NXT was up against an NBA game between the Knicks and the Nets, which averaged 989,000 viewers and a 0.31 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic on TNT. NXT also faced competition in the form of cable news coverage of the New Hampshire primary elections.

In the 18 to 49 demographic, NXT scored a 0.19 rating. This holds level with last week’s number (0.19 rating in the same demographic).

This Week’s Episode Of WWE NXT

The January 23 episode of WWE NXT featured a semi-final match in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, as Bron Breakker and Baron Corbin faced Axiom and Nathan Frazer. In the main event segment, Roxanne Perez and Lyra Valkyria signed the contract for their match at NXT Vengeance Day.

Elsewhere on the show, Dragon Lee faced SCRYPTS, and Lexis King battled Trey Bearhill. Plus, Trick Williams faced Josh Briggs.
