WWE NXT Viewership Increases On 6/18, Demo Also Rises

WWE NXT saw an increase in viewership on June 18.

According to Programming Insider, 724,000 viewers watched the show on Tuesday night, drawing a 0.26 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership is up from last week’s episode, when 718,000 viewers tuned in. The demo also rose from last week‘s episode, which drew a 0.22 rating in the same demographic.

What happened on WWE NXT this week?

This week’s show kicked off with Je’Von Evans winning a battle royale to crown the number one contender to the NXT Championship, which featured TNA stars Joe Hendry and Frankie Kazarian.

Oba Femi went face-to-face with Wes Lee and agreed to give him one more shot at the NXT North American Championship. But if Lee loses, he’ll never get another shot as long as Femi is the champion.

Kelani Jordan was also in action, defeating Michin to retain her NXT Women’s North American Championship.

The main event saw Ethan Page defeat Je’Von Evans to become the new number-one contender for Trick Williams and the NXT Championship at Heatwave.
