WWE has been undergoing quite a few changes over the last couple of years, as business is truly booming for the company. WWE is also planning on the sports part of their ‘Sports Entertainment’ tagline by incorporating more sports-centric elements.

As previously reported, WWE and Netflix confirmed the groundbreaking deal to shift Monday Night RAW to the streaming service starting in January 2025. The reported deal is valued at over $5 billion for duration of ten years.

With such a huge deal, it comes as no surprise the company might be changing up a few things again. According to PWInsider, the company plans on incorporating more sports-centric elements into their programming.

“We are told that the talk at Raw yesterday and at WWE HQ today is that the company will be incorporating some sports-centric elements into the programming. Cody Rhodes being interviewed on Raw “earlier today” complete with the clock listing the time was an example given of trying to root the product in stronger realism. We are told that interviews will reflect this as well.”

Nick Khan also revealed whether RAW will move from Monday nights as part of their Netflix deal. WWE is clearly going through the biggest boom period in decades and the results speak for themselves.

We will have to wait and see what kind of sports-centric elements WWE will be adding to their regular programming, as the company is determined to improve their product in every single way.
