WWE RAW Viewership Rises On 1/22, Demo Also Up

WWE RAW viewership increased ahead of WWE Royal Rumble.

Wrestlenomics reports that RAW averaged 1.686 million viewers, which is up from last week, when RAW averaged 1.419 million viewers.

In the 18 to 40 demographic, RAW scored a 0.55 rating. This also marked an increase from last week (0.45 rating in the same demographic).

Per Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, the segment with CM Punk and Cody Rhodes was the high point for WWE RAW. The higher of its two quarters averaged 1.907 million viewers and a 0.61 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic.

Cody Rhodes and CM Punk's in-ring segment was by far the high point for viewership last night's Raw.

It overlapped 2 quarters. The higher quarter was 10:00 to 10:15 pm and averaged 1,907,000 viewers and a 0.61 P18-49 rating. The show overall averaged 1,686,000 and 0.55.

This Week’s Episode Of WWE RAW

The January 22 episode of WWE RAW featured the buzzworthy showdown between CM Punk and Cody Rhodes. The show opened with World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins providing an update after he suffered a knee injury. In the main event, Drew McIntyre battled Damian Priest. Monday’s show was the go-home edition ahead of WWE Royal Rumble on Saturday.
