WWE Director of Character Development Rob Fee, who played a pivotal role in Bray Wyatt’s 2022 return, is giving credit where it’s due—this time, to Joe Gacy. During an interview on the Dead Meat podcast with James and Chelsea, Fee highlighted Gacy’s standout contributions as a member of The Wyatt Sicks, Wyatt’s eerie new faction.
Fee shared how impressed he’s been with Gacy’s transition from NXT to the main roster, especially given the high stakes of his debut. “Speaking of the pig, I don’t think Joe Gacy gets enough credit considering he was called up from NXT to this, and this was—his first night on the main roster was their debut. I’ll forget, and I’ll check on him sometimes and be like, ‘Hey buddy, just making sure you’re good, I know this is a lot at once.’ Just wanted to note him in particular—he’s been so fantastic, really stepped up and done an amazing job,” Fee remarked.
Since joining The Wyatt Sicks, Gacy has embraced his unsettling character with chilling precision, earning admiration from fans and peers alike. His ability to seamlessly step into such a high-profile role has solidified his position as a breakout star on the main roster.
As WWE continues to evolve its creative landscape, it’s clear that Gacy is becoming a key player in the future of the company’s most haunting storylines.
