Maybe not? There are certain wrestlers who have issues with keeping out of trouble. For one reason or another, something happens and they get in one jam after another. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Even There: WWE May Be Making Changes In A Surprising Area Later This Year
Earlier this week, WWE Hall Of Famer Booker T. hinted that he had a backstage incident with CM Punk at this week’s NXT but did not give any more details. According to Fightful Select by way of Wrestlingnews.co, sources were skeptical about the claims as there was no discussion of such an incident, including among security. This reportedly left people who spoke to Fightful frustrated with Booker T.’s comments given Punk’s history. There is currently nothing to suggest that Punk caused any issue at the show and he has had no reported incidents since his return to WWE in November 2023.
Punk has done well since returning to WWE. Check out what he has been doing lately:
Opinion: This is quite the change of situation and unless there is some kind of big surprise about the night, it doesn’t seem that Punk is going to be in the biggest trouble. Hopefully nothing happened as Punk is likely on a short leash in the first place and it would be terrible to see things fall apart just a few months after his return. Right now it seems that Booker T. might not be completely accurate here, but that could always change if something new comes out.
What do you think of the situation? What should Punk do when he returns? Let us know in the comments below.
