EXCLUSIVE: Simon Cowell’s agency YMU has hired Steven Bartlett’s former manager to be a director within its global entertainment division.
Lauren Clark joins from InterTalent, as the buzzy London agenting scene continues to see a spate of people moves. At InterTalent, she managed the likes of Olivia Neill, Brookie & Jessie and Grace Beverley, the latter of whom joined YMU earlier this year.
Prior to InterTalent, Clark worked across digital at Gleam Futures, and before this she was manager to Diary of a CEO‘s Bartlett.
YMU’s MD of Global Entertainment, Lucy Loveridge, said: “I’m thrilled to welcome Lauren to YMU and for us to be working together again. I’ve always been impressed by her incredible drive, creativity and ability to nurture emerging and established talent.”
Clark added: “I’m thrilled to be joining YMU and working with so many former and new colleagues. They have an incredibly diverse roster of talent and an industry-leading team and I can’t wait to get started.”
Clark’s hire comes amid a flurry of change at London agency YMU. Last week, it hired a corporate speaking boss, fresh off the back of snapping up LADBible exec Drew Middleton to lead digital marketing and social strategy, and Spotify’s Rhyanna Coleman to oversee podcasting output.
Heading in the other direction have been the likes of events exec Olivia Bertolotti, who moved to Clark’s old employer InterTalent, Minnie Harding, who joined MVE, Rebecca Dowell and Lizzie Barroll Brown, along with a number of clients.
