YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy stated that those who are controlled by the Telugu Desam party cannot carry on the legacy of YS Rajasekhara Reddy. He emphasized that true successors of YSR are brave, honest, and innovative individuals. YS Jagan made these remarks during a public meeting at CSI Grounds in Pulivendula before filing his nominations for the Assembly seat.

He highlighted the progress of Pulivendula under YSR’s leadership, noting the arrival of Krishna water in the region. YS Jagan also criticized the TDP for dominating the area for many years. He mentioned how certain individuals, including Nara Chandrababu Naidu, Pawan Kalyan, and Purandheswari, spread false information about YSR and himself, branding the region as ‘Kadapa culture.’

YS Jagan questioned those who align with the TDP and criticized their claim to YSR’s legacy. He pointed out the injustices faced by his party members, such as Avinash Reddy, whose innocence he believed in. YS Jagan accused those responsible for Vivekananda Reddy’s death of walking free and raised doubts about the circumstances surrounding the case.

The YSRCP leader emphasized that the people who benefit from his welfare schemes will be his main supporters during the campaign. He warned that electing the TDP-JSP-BJP alliance would result in the termination of these programs. After submitting his nominations to the Pulivendula returning officer, YS Jagan planned to return to Tadepalli following a short stay at his residence in Bhakarapuram.
