Zayn Malik is hitting the road! The 31-year-old former One Direction member-turned-solo star revealed he will embark on his first solo headlining tour since leaving the boy band in 2015. During an appearance on The Late Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, he appeared during the monologue from behind the curtain in a black leather jacket holding a coffee mug and a note, taking over Jimmy‘s laptop where he played his single “Stardust” from his latest album, Room Under the Stairs. Jimmy then read the note aloud. “Hey Jimmy, great to see you, mate,” he began. “I’m going on my first-ever tour this autumn. So maybe when you’re done picking apples with your buds, you can come check out my Stairway to the Sky Tour across the U.S. and UK.” The 11-city tour will hit cities throughout the U.S. and U.K. this fall, kicking off on October 23 in San Francisco before wrapping the North American leg on November 2 in New York City. He will then head to the U.K. for a show in Edinburgh, with stops in Manchester, London and more before ending in Newcastle. Presale tickets will be available starting Thursday (September 19) with additional presales running throughout the week.
