Gary Pallister has been talking about Alexander Isak, Newcastle United and Manchester United.
The former Man U star commenting after the totally deluded Teddy Sheringham said that if Manchester United put an offer in, Alexander Isak would ‘without a doubt’ choose Old Trafford over St James’ Park.
Gary Pallister though does live in the real world, he says there is zero chance of Alexander Isak choosing Man U over Newcastle United.
He goes even further, saying that even if Isak was for whatever reason leaving Tyneside Manchester United ‘wouldn’t even be on his list.’
A refreshing change compared to the nonsense spewed by the likes of Sheringham and others, refusing to accept the much-changed football world of today.
One where Manchester United are incapable of attracting world class players such as Alexander Isak, instead having to pay over the odds for second and third rate players.
Garry Pallister talking about Alexander Isak, Manchester United and Newcastle United:
“Manchester United haven’t got the pulling power that we once had and the chances are we’re not going to be playing Champions League football either.
“Back in the days of Sir Alex Ferguson, people wanted to come and play for Manchester United. It was a no brainer.
“I’m sure Alexander Isak would have been looking at that as a step up to if Man U were where they usually are then.
“But at the moment they are not one of the big hitters in European football and Newcastle United are challenging to compete for the Champions League in front of a huge crowd.
“I don’t think he is worth £150million, but he is scoring goals in the Premier League and is now proven here, if he does leave Newcastle United – Manchester United wouldn’t even be on his list unfortunately.”
