IMG Credit: WWEYes him too. One of the worst things that can happen to any wrestling promotion is a string of injuries. You never know when one wrestler after another is going to get hurt and that can change all kinds of things about a promotion. There are certain times when it can be even worse than usual and that is the case again with WWE, as another star is out of action.

SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis has posted a video to Twitter, announcing that Bobby Lashley has suffered an injury during training and will be pulled from the King Of The Ring tournament. As a result, Angelo Dawkins will take his place against Tama Tonga in the first round match this week on SmackDown. Aldis did not offer any details as to the nature of the injury or when Lashley could return to the ring. Lashley is the third person to be removed from the King or Queen Of The Ring Tournament, following Asuka and Drew McIntyre.

Opinion: That’s never good to hear and hopefully Lashley is back in the ring soon. Lashley is someone who could be a force in WWE if he is given the chance but at 47 years old, there is not likely to be much of a chance left for him to be near the top of the card. You do not see many stars like him and it will be nice to have him back in action whenever he is healthy enough to do so.
What do you think of Lashley? How should he be used in WWE? Let us know in the comments below.
