It was a night to forget to Manchester United at Selhurst Park. It’s not often Crystal Palace do the double over us in the league, but they achieved that feat tonight as we suffered our 18th defeat of the season.
“There was just nothing from Manchester United tonight,” said Ashley Young, who appeared on Monday Night Football via Sky Sports.
The former United winger/full-back believes it is as bad as it gets for United players tonight, even though the away end stayed behind and rallied behind the team.
The team were abysmal tonight and a lot can be said for the sheer amount of players we had out injured.
Young’s analysis focus on how United threw the towel in after conceding early on. Palace grew into the game and there was nothing from United.

You can tell from watching Young in the studio that he didn’t enjoy tonight’s game. He spoke passionately about the United fans, who travel home and away to support the team no matter what. It was another difficult night for them and many of them now face a long trip back from London for work in the morning.
Always good to hear from Youngy, of course!
