Ansu Fati is one of many Barcelona players facing an uncertain future at Camp Nou, as the club brace for a busy summer ahead.

Currently out on loan at Brighton & Hove Albion, Fati is slated to return to Camp Nou at the end of the season.

However, with Barcelona going through hardships, coupled with Fati’s own struggles with injuries and inconsistency, a sale could be considered.

Barcelona to decide Fati’s future in the summer

According to a report from Fabrizio Romano, Barcelona are not too worked up about the future of Ansu Fati right now.

It appears the Catalans are ready to wait out a bit and make a decision on Fati’s future sometime around June and July.

The youngster will have returned to Camp Nou by the time. There were indications that Barcelona were looking to extend the player’s loan spell in the Premier League, especially with Roberto De Zerbi being a fan of the attacker.

However, if the right offer comes, Blaugrana might not rule out a potential sale, which could help the club bring in at least €30-40 million in revenue.

End of the road at Barcelona?

On the flip side, Barcelona could use the services of a new left-winger. In Joao Felix, Raphinha, Fermin Lopez, Vitor Roque, Gavi and even Pedri, the club have had no shortage of options.

However, none of these players have quite been able to establish themselves in the position. That is where Ansu Fati could prove to be an interesting option.

But as mentioned earlier, the club’s financial hardships may ultimately force them to consider offers for Fati, whose chapter at Camp Nou could soon be ending in the coming summer.
