Barcelona president Joan Laporta was furious after 3-3 draw against Granada in La Liga

Following a temporary break from the action, much was expected from Barcelona against Granada last night, especially with Real Madrid running away with the title as league leaders.

However, struggling to live up to expectations, Barcelona dropped the ball last night, with the Catalan giants drawing 3-3 at the Lluis Companys Olympic Stadium.

While there is still ample time before the season reaches an end, overcoming the gap between them and league leaders Real Madrid has only become more toilsome.

The Merengues lead by a whopping 10 points, and the reactions of Laporta to the unfortunate draw indicate the difficulties Barcelona now faces in having a shot at retaining their crown.
