One of Manchester United’s summer recruits is already thinking about packing his bags.

This summer, Manchester United did not skimp on resources to secure the services of five new recruits. Among them, Dutch international Joshua Zirkzee acted as the main reinforcement to strengthen the Red Devils’ attack. However, this recruitment is, for the moment, far from bearing fruit.

Indeed, since the start of this season, the young striker has only found the back of the net once in 11 matches. A situation which is far from satisfying the former Bologna player, if we are to believe the Italian press.

Zirkzee ready to go this winter

According to Calcio MercatoZirkzee “regrets” having joined the ranks of United, who paid 42.50 million euros excluding bonuses to secure his services. The transalpine sports daily indicates that the 23-year-old center forward is already considering a return to Serie A in the form of a loan during the next winter transfer window.

As a reminder, the Batavian, under contract with MU until June 2029, would also appear on the shelves of Juventus Turin as well as AC Milan.
