Former AEW TNT Champion Darby Allin is set to tick one goal off his bucket list. That is climbing the tallest mountain in the world, Mount Everest.

Recently, the Daredevil was interviewed on KSDK. During the interview, Darby Allin shared that it is very hard to train and keep oneself healthy enough to climb Mount Everest whilst being a professional wrestler.

“I will be the first professional wrestler to climb Mount Everest. Hopefully, I’m the first successful wrestler to climb Mount Everest. Avalanche, don’t take me out. So that’s the thing [opens up about training and preparing for the climb]. I don’t think a lot of people understand is, being a full-time wrestler and also trying to train to climb Mount Everest, I’m dodging all these bullets. And like every week I’m almost having to go to the hospital for wrestling and then I got to stay healthy enough to climb Everest.”

Allin also mentioned that he wants to plant the AEW flag on top of the mountain and let the world know about All Elite Wrestling and its liberties.

“The training has been crazy. Like… Crazy. I was in Mendoza, in China or Katmandu for over a month in December. But before I went, I got an AC joint sprain. So I had this AC joint sprain and I was climbing mountains. So it was pretty, pretty gnarly training. I’m excited for it though. But everyone there says I got what it takes. All the years of skateboarding got me ready for this. Yeah, I’m going to plant that AEW flag on top and to show the world what AEW is allowing us to do inside the ring and outside the ring,” Darby Allin said.
