Everton: big scare for Beto who leaves on respiratory assistance

If Everton won a valuable match with a view to remaining in the Premier League against Nottingham Forest (2-1), the English club experienced quite a scare at the end of the match. Their striker Beto (26) fell to the ground unconscious following contact with a Nottingham Forest player at the end of the game.

“We can confirm that Beto lost consciousness and was taken to hospital as a precaution. We are all with you, big guy”, announced the English club. The player who gave a thumbs up as he left the field was placed on life support before being taken to hospital.
