Former Manchester United players Gary Neville, David de Gea and Wayne Rooney are among those leading the praise for the side after their 2-1 FA Cup final win over rivals Man City.
Teenage duo Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo scored their goals in the first-half, only for Jeremy Doku to pull one back for City late in the second half. It was not enough as United went on to win the FA Cup for the 13th time.
Former United captain Neville took to X to share his reaction to the win over City, writing: “Manchester is & always will be,” accompanied by a red heart.

Meanwhile, Rooney was on punditry duty for the BBC. He said (via Daily Mail): “Absolutely delighted. It was such a huge task for Manchester United today to come here and beat the Champions and I thought they were absolutely fantastic.
“The resilience they’ve shown, the work rate, the effort, the desire to score goals. They deserved the victory.”
