Suspended and in the stands for two matches, Franck Haise seems to appreciate this new position.

Following his comments on arbitration during the elimination of RC Lens in the Coupe de France against Monaco, Franck Haise received a four-match suspension (one of which was suspended) and has since had to watch his players’ matches from the stands. A fine tactician, the French coach even seems to appreciate this new position which allows him to have a more panoramic view of the field when his team plays.

A sanction transformed into an opportunity

At a press conference this Friday, the Artesian coach expressed his new sensations in the stands. ” VSThis opportunity to have the obligation to be in the stand was ultimately very interesting, I saw it very well. It happened to me three or four years ago against Nîmes to play a match just behind the benches and it’s not very satisfying. But being a little further away, the view is much better. It’s the one that you (the journalists) have and which allows you to better analyze the game and the match”he explained.

Despite the end of his suspension on Saturday in Nantes, Haise announced that he would continue to officiate from the stands, which allows him to detach himself from the emotions of the sidelines. Something he wants to apply until the end of the season, at least in the first halves. “I think it allows you to have greater emotional distance and that’s good. In the second half, it’s different because we have to be more reactive with the substitutions and we don’t always get along very well. But I think that until the end of the season I will experience living these first halves with a little height.”
