Manchester United will be in the market to improve their defence ahead of next season and Tosin Adarabioyo has been tipped with a move to Old Trafford with his Fulham contract set to expire in June.

It’s been a problematic area in the team this season due to injuries, and it says a lot that most United fans think Jonny Evans has been our best centre-back this season. I would agree with them too.

Something has to change in the summer in terms of personnel. Is it time to call it a day with Raphael? Do we need the Frenchman as well as Evans next season? Can Lisandro Martinez stay fit? Is Harry Maguire happy to be a back-up option? What about Victor Lindelof and Willy Kambwala?

According to a report by All Nigeria Soccer, Fulham are going to offer a fresh contract to Tosin Adarabioyo and the Cottagers are ‘confident’ of retaining his services for the foreseeable future.

The 26-year-old signed for Fulham in 2020 and has gone from strength to strength.

Adarabioyo’s performances this season have earned him links to several Premier League clubs, including United.

The report claims United, Liverpool, Tottenham and West Ham have made enquiries about the player to the defender’s camp.

Unless Adarabioyo signs a new deal at Fulham, the highly-rated defender could leave Craven Cottage as a free agent at the end of June.

These deals usually get sorted to ensure Fulham can make money back – if not a hefty profit – on players.
