Reports in Italy suggest Inter Milan are serious about their interest in Manchester United right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
The Manchester United defender’s contract expires next year, therefore, the upcoming transfer market presents a final opportunity for the club to cash in on a player deemed surplus to requirements by many fans.
Wan-Bissaka played an important role in the team this season, which shouldn’t be forgotten at a time when injuries depleted our defence, but Diogo Dalot out-performed him in their preferred right-back slot. That will be one of the reasons for United cashing in on Wan-Bissaka, though Stretty News understands the player’s preference is to return to London.
According to TuttoMercato reporter Andrea Losapio, Inter view Wan-Bissaka as a potential replacement for Netherlands international Denzel Dumfries.
l’#Inter è forte su Aaron Wan-Bissaka🏴 terzino del Manchester United. Può essere il dopo Dumfries
scadenza 2025
valutazione 12 milioni di euro
triennale da 2,7 annui (più opzione)

It is understood Inter are preparing an offer worth €12 million – to be paid in instalments over the course of three years. The proposal in question could see United pocket €2.7m-per-year for that duration.
It seems inevitable that we will be saying goodbye to Wan-Bissaka, another player who cost big money to never reach the levels expected of him.
The former Crystal Palace defender will go down as another disappointment for United’s previous recruitment team.
Dumfries to United?
The Dutch full-back has been linked with a move away from Inter in recent months, with United being among a list of clubs believed to have tracked the player.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Dumfries, who had seemed destined for a Premier League switch, could be set to remain with the Nerrazurri.
Like Wan-Bissaka, Dumfries could see his current deal expire in 2025. He rejected the club’s offer to extend his deal last year, which came as a sign that he had plans to move on.
