Former President Jimmy Carter has been nominated for a Grammy for the 10th time! The 100-year-old former politician is nominated at the upcoming 2025 Grammys in the category of Best Audio Book, Narration & Storytelling Recording for his spoken-word album “Last Sunday in Plains: A Centennial Celebration.” “What an honor!” the Carter Center shared on Twitter/X. Keep reading to find out more… The album includes recordings from President Carter‘s Sunday school lessons at Maranatha Baptist Church in Plains, Ga. This marks Jimmy‘s 10th nomination in the category, and at 100 years old, it makes him the oldest person to be nominated for a Grammy. Currently, the oldest person to win a Grammy is Pinetop Perkins, who was 97 years old when he won Best Traditional Album in 2011.
