Continuation of the 32nd day of La Liga this Sunday evening. The Almeria club hosted Villarreal, on their lawn at the Mediterranean Games Stadium. Despite enormous domination by the Indálicos, it was the Groguets who left with the victory (1-2). Everything quickly came to a head in the match with Ilias Akhomach (25th) opening the scoring. Anthony Lozano quickly equalized for the locals (30th). In the second act, the expulsion of Largie Ramazani seriously handicapped Almeria who suffered a goal in stoppage time from Alexander Sørloth (90th + 2).

In the standings, Almeria still remains dead last in this Spanish championship with this 20th place, while Villarreal is still in the race for Europe with this 9th position. Next weekend, the Indálicos will host Getafe, while the Groguets will play at home against Rayo, during the 33rd Spanish matchday.
