Liverpool are considering Eintracht Frankfurt striker Omar Marmoush for a move this summer.
The Reds are aware they could lose Mohamed Salah this summer as he is yet to sign a new contract. If he leaves, his compatriot Marmoush could therefore replace him at Anfield. According to German media, Eintracht have informed Liverpool that they will only sell their attacking star for a sum of around 55 million euros.
Salah replaced by a compatriot?
Marmoush, 25, born in Cairo, has scored nine goals and provided four assists since the start of the season. His agent Michael Reschke recently said: “We have good plans for Marmoush. He has performed excellently in recent times and has a bright future ahead of him.”
“It currently benefits from a global market and we do not rule out receiving offers from all over the world. Marmoush is highly regarded within Eintracht Frankfurt, which is why we expect to receive offers not only from Germany, but also from all over Europe,” added the agent.
