Former Manchester United right-back Gary Neville has highlighted Casemiro as being at fault for Arsenal’s only goal at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.
The Gunners took the lead in the first half as Kai Havertz’s cross was converted from close range by Leandro Trossard.
Having watched the replay, it came as United’s defence were too slow reacting to danger.

Neville pinpointed the blame on Casemiro, saying (via Manchester Evening News): “Casemiro has taken some criticism in the last couple of weeks, and he’s going to get a little bit more. Brilliant from Arsenal.
“Those Arsenal fans in that far corner will have recognised it’s been a difficult first 20 minutes. But, he goes to split wide to get on the ball, Casemiro.
“As soon as Onana goes that way, Casemiro has to get up. Look at him jog.
“Then as you see the ball getting played that down that far side, he has to get out quicker than that to play him offside. Once he doesn’t, he’s in trouble.”
Casemiro faced a lot of criticism after United’s 4-0 defeat to Crystal Palace, and he doesn’t cover himself in glory this afternoon.
The Brazilian continues to be played out of position at centre-back, so fans will be looking forward to seeing Lisandro Martinez back in the team. It was another poor showing from Casemiro.
