Los Angeles Rams & Minnesota Vikings' Playoff Game Moved to Arizona Amid LA Wildfires

Another major event is being affected by the fires in Los Angeles.

The NFL Wild Card Playoff game between the Los Angeles Rams and the Minnesota Vikings was to take place at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif., on Monday (January 13), but it will now be moved to a different location as the wildfires in the LA area continue to blaze.

While this decision was said to be a possibility over the last couple of days, the NFL made it official on Thursday (January 9), announcing the game will now be held at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Ariz., with the time and date remaning the same – Monday (January 13) at 8pm ET/PT.

The game will be televised as scheduled across ESPN/ABC/ESPN+ and ESPN Deportes.

“In the interest of public safety, Monday’s Vikings-Rams Wild Card game has been moved from SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, CA to State Farm Stadium, the home of the Arizona Cardinals,” a statement from the NFL reads. “The decision was made in consultation with public officials, the participating clubs and the NFLPA.”

Tickets for the game now being held in Arizona will go on sale at 10am PT on Friday (January 14) through SeatGeek.com for Rams season ticket holders, and at 12pm PT for the general public.

Many other events in Los Angeles have been canceled or postponed due to the wildfires, including the Critics Choice Awards that were scheduled for Sunday. Find out more news about the fires here…
