The PSG coach, who already doesn’t like journalists in general, is not likely to go on vacation with Alexandre Ruiz…
Last October, after a victory for Paris Saint-Germain against Stade Rennais (3-1), Luis Enrique was interviewed at the microphone of Free by Alexandre Ruiz. The Spanish technician was then particularly vehement towards the sports journalist, believing that he “understood nothing”. Sunday evening, after the Parisian success against Olympique Lyonnais, a new heated interview took place between the two men.
“Obviously, he has a dispute with Alex Ruiz, revealed Daniel Riolo, Monday evening on RMC. I just want to understand, obviously, the fact that he (Ruiz) speaks Spanish well must ensure that they can have a dialogue. He treated him like a huge piece of shit. Did you see any fast attack play yesterday (Sunday)? We also saw the transition, notably with a very nice fourth goal. He pissed him off by saying that his team never played in transition, nor in rapid attack and that it was not understanding anything about football to have seen that. Just because he doesn’t want to. »
An interview not broadcast at the moment
At the end of the interview, Alexandre Ruiz reportedly asked Luis Enrique if his team’s entire game suited him. “And you, do you like everything about your wife? “, the former Spain coach would have replied. “I don’t like guys who talk like that. I hope this interview will be broadcast, for now, Free is feeling its way”, said Daniel Riolo.
Luis Enrique has always had frosty relations with the media. At the start of his coaching career, when he was in charge of Barça’s reserves, he sent his assistant Joan Barbara to all his team’s press briefings.
