Following Algeria’s fiasco at the Africa Cup of Nations, several Algerian internationals are expected to announce their international retirement.

By Djamel Belmadi’s own admission, Algeria is at the end of the cycle. According to RMC, the Algerian coach would have announced his departure to his players as soon as the match ended.

And according to the media El Marma, several Algerian internationals should follow and announce their international retirement. And not the least since Riyad Mahrez should give up the Fennecs at only 32 years old.

Islam Slimani, Aïssa Mandi, Raïs M’Bolhi, Sofiane Feghouli, Nabil Bentaleb, Baghdad Bounedjah and Youcef Belaïli should also leave the selection in the coming days.
