Vitor Roque may need to consider a career move away from Camp Nou.

The Brazilian teenager may need to consider a temporary move away from Barcelona in order to continue his development as a footballer, especially as recent reports suggest Xavi Hernandez has not been completely convinced by him yet.

Roque, 19, was signed as an emergency option to replace Gavi in January.

Mundo Deportivo now claim United, Napoli, Lyon, Sevilla, Real Betis and Nice are all interested in the 19-year-old, who joined Barcelona for an all-in free of €61m.

However, it is understood (via Matteo Moretto) that the youngster is still keen to remain at Camp Nou, but will speak with the sporting director Deco and manager Xavi at the end of the season to work out the best solution for all parties.

Xavi believes Roque needs more game time, but as he has been unable to give him it, there is a feeling he could have those minutes elsewhere.

Xavi: "Roque? We will decide on his future when the season is over. Right now he's a Barça player and he will help us."

Manchester United is not a stepping stone club

The biggest difference between the clubs we are listed with – in the race for Roque – and our ourselves, is that United are not a stepping stone club. It will be a challenge to get minutes at Old Trafford if they’re limited at Camp Nou.

Not unless they want to do an exchange deal for Roque and Antony.

Then, I would be positive United would listen to Barcelona.
