Manchester United fans are waiting to find out how long Leny Yoro will be ruled out after sustaining a foot injury in a pre-season friendly against Arsenal on Saturday.

It feels like a repeat of the injury suffered by Kobbie Mainoo during pre-season last year. It kept him out of action for months.

According to the Manchester Evening News, the club is concerned Yoro could be sidelined for a prolonged period with a foot injury.

The 18-year-old was seen on crutches and wearing a protective boot at United’s pre-season tour training base at UCLA on Tuesday.

There has been no official update from Erik ten Hag or the club as they wait on a clear diagnosis.

After suffering 60+ cases of injury last season, Yoro’s setback is the last thing we needed ahead of the new campaign.

Ten Hag did not hold a press conference ahead of the pre-season friendly against Real Betis, which means we have to wait for an update on not just Yoro but Rasmus Hojlund.

The pre-match press duties were passed on to Amad Diallo.

More updates on Yoro when we have them but it doesn’t sound good…
