Another youngster from the Manchester United academy has been included in the first team squad that has travelled to London this afternoon ahead of Monday night’s game against Crystal Palace.

Manager Erik ten Hag has been forced to draft more youngsters into the first-team in recent weeks due to the flurry of injuries that have depleted his squad throughout the season.

The latest player to sustain a blow is Harry Maguire, with the club announcing over the weekend that a muscle injury will keep the centre-back out of action for three weeks.

Toby Collyer is among the first-team squad in contention for tonight’s Premier League clash with Palace at Selhurst Park.

The 20-year-old midfielder, who is yet to make his first-team debut for the club, was pictured with his team-mates at Manchester Airport, as per the Manchester Evening News.

Collyer has been waiting to make his debut after featuring on the bench on four occasions so far this season in all competitions.

It remains to be seen if today will be Collyer’s special day.
