Wolves striker Matheus Cunha is reportedly under consideration at Manchester United with the summer transfer window just around the corner.

According to The Mirror, United scouts tracked Cunha throughout the season and he is on the list of targets to replace Anthony Martial.

Cunha joined Wolves after his £44million switch from Atletico Madrid last summer. He scored 14 goals across all competitions and Wolves struggled during his absence towards the end of the season.

The report states United are willing to double the Brazilian’s wages, which are thought to be around £60,000-a-week at Molineux.

Steve Bates claims: “He [Cunha] perfectly fits the profile of players Sir Jim Ratcliffe wants to attract as he tries to move United forward – aggressive, dynamic and ambitious.”

It is understood that Wolves will try to resist any attempt to lure Cunha away.

Meanwhile, the same report claims United are interested in a move for West Ham star Mohammed Kudus, who also scored 14 goals last season after joining from Ajax where he played under Ten Hag.

Kudus is also attracting interest from Liverpool as a potential Mohammed Salah replacement, if the Scousers lose their talisman.
