Crystal Palace host Manchester United at Selhurst Park this evening in a Premier League contest.
The result could have serious ramifications on United manager Erik ten Hag who’s team are embroiled in a tight contest for the remaining European places.
Wins for Newcastle and Chelsea over the weekend have seen the pressure rise on United, who have dropped to eighth place in the table where they are now outside of the automatic spots for next season’s European competitions.
A win tonight would send us back up to sixth in the league.
With matches against Arsenal and Newcastle coming up for United, the Reds cannot afford to drop any points tonight and our form doesn’t read well.
Erik ten Hag has named his starting eleven to take on the Eagles, with a number of key players out injured.
Andre Onana starts between the sticks.
The back four consists of Diogo Dalot, Jonny Evans, Casemiro and Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
In midfield we’ll see a trio of Kobbie Mainoo, Christian Eriksen and Mason Mount. Bruno Fernandes misses out with an injury, though fans should be excited to see what Mount can offer because we have not seen him play enough of games in his first season at the club.
United’s front three continues to be without Marcus Rashford. That means Antony, Rasmus Hojlund and Alejandro Garnacho all start.
