Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are giving a very rare new interview! The 38-year-old fashion designer recently spoke with Vogue where they shared an exciting update on their fashion brand The Row, revealing that they will soon be opening a fifth store. Keep reading to find out more…“We’ve been looking for years,” Ashley said in the interview published on Monday (Sept. 23). “We wanted to be in Paris before we opened in London, but we didn’t find anything here first. Then, 18 months ago, a friend told us about this place.” The Row – which already has stores in New York City, Long Island, Los Angeles, and London – will soon be opening a store in Paris in a building that was once a restaurant. “It has to be a nice experience for the community—a sense of the store being local,” Ashley shared. “We want the experience to be unique and special. Their experience is as important to us as anything else we do.” The sisters then noted that they’re prepared for the inevitable hiccups that come with opening a new store. “You need to be very agile, and to make adjustments, so opening the doors and learning one day at a time … that’s very us,” Ashley explained. “This may not be the most obvious place to be in Paris—we looked at almost every major street in the city—but we’re very happy here.” This location has required some major renovations to embody The Row‘s chic look, so Mary-Kate and Ashley have been traveling to Paris every few weeks to check on the store’s construction process. While in town, the duo were seen stepping out for dinner with younger sister Elizabeth Olsen back in March. “The best way to describe the whole process, was a series of baby steps, which we did with a bunch of people who were happy to try with us,” Ashley went on. Mary-Kate then chimed in and joked about the store’s set-up, saying, “Having so many windows is amazing, but also a challenge.
