Mason Greenwood spotted training in Manchester with former team-mate

Mason Greenwood has been spotted training in Manchester with former Manchester United team-mate Shola Shoretire.

After completing his loan spell at Getafe, Greenwood has returned to the UK to prepare for the new season.

Several clubs have shown interest in signing Greenwood — such as Lazio and Marseille — but a deal has yet to materialise. The 22-year-old was cleared of charges that included attempted rape, coercive behaviour, and assault occasioning actual bodily harm, by the CPS last February.

While fellow United outcast Jadon Sancho is expected to report to Carrington on Monday, it remains to be seen if Greenwood will be told to stay away completely.

Anyhow, Greenwood has been spotted maintaining his fitness with fellow academy product Shoretire, who left United this summer at the end of his contract.

Greenwood was wearing a Jamaican national team shirt.
