Matt Hardy remains a free agent.
Matt Hardy wrapped up with AEW earlier in April after his contract expired in March. He made a surprise appearance at the end of TNA Rebellion on April 20, where he attacked TNA World Champion Moose at the end of the show.
After the pay-per-view went off the air, Matt Hardy responded to a fan on Twitter who asked whether he had signed with TNA. Hardy wrote that he had not, as he was a free agent. He stated that he would appear when he wanted to appear.

Hardy has had two stints with TNA/IMPACT Wrestling over the years. He had a brief run with the company in 2011, and he returned for a longer run in 2014. Hardy is a two-time TNA World Heavyweight Champion and a two-time TNA World Tag Team Champion.
