Matteo Guendouzi picked up the man-of-the-match award against Bayern Munich - and no-one was more surprised than the ex-Arsenal star.
The Lazio midfielder shined as the Italian side edged out a 1-0 victory over the Bundesliga giants in Wednesday night's Champions League last-16 first leg clash.
Guendouzi impressed as Lazio beat Bayern Munich in RomeCiro Immobile scored the only goal of the game after converting a second-half penalty, but it was Guendouzi who was the standout player.
And the 24-year-old was buzzing following the full-time whistle after getting one over ex-Tottenham striker Harry Kane and Spurs loanee Eric Dier.
After coming back from applauding the fans at the Stadio Olimpico, the French midfielder was making his way to the pitch where he was presented with the man-of-the-match trophy.
He picked it up thinking as though he was to hand it over to a teammate, before being told it was actually for him.
A stunned Guendouzi said: "Are you sure it's for me?"
Having been told it was indeed for him, the seven-cap Les Bleus international smiled for the camera, before giving a cheeky wink down the lens.
While the player may have been shocked, the stats certainly show that he deserved the award after winning 100 per cent of his tackles as well as coming out on top in seven out of eight duels.
He also completed 31 out of 37 attempted passes - with six of those coming in the final third - while boasting a 100 per cent dribble success rate.

Guendouzi was right in praising his teammates, with Lazio producing a record-breaking victory in Rome.
Not only was it the club's second win in the Champions League knockout stages, but they become the first Italian team to beat Bayern since Inter Milan 13 years ago.
And they are also the first team to beat their German opponents in a last-16 first leg tie since Swiss outfit Basel in 2012.
