The highly anticipated road to WrestleMania is about to kick off in less than a week with the onset of the annual Royal Rumble pay-per-view. Moreover, the 2024 edition could be a load of surprises and even debuts, with Maxxine Dupri looking to be one of them.

The Alpha Academy member was seen as a part of a new video released by WWE on YouTube, titled ‘Alpha Academy’s over-the-top Royal Rumble sparring session.’ It showcased the faction members, Chad Gable, Otis, and Dupri alongside Akira Tozawa preparing for potentially their respective Rumble matches.

The interesting fact to note here is that their female Alpha, Maxxine Dupri has never competed in a Royal Rumble match before. Despite that, she was seen getting her hand at various techniques including the ‘skin the cat’ escape spot and staying grounded.

The work put in by Dupri, as seen in the video, probably hints at her participation and debut in the 2024 Women’s Royal Rumble match. Moreover, it would also be Akira Towaza’s first Rumble appearance, should he compete in the Men’s side.

As far as the other two Alpha Academy members, Chad Gable and Otis are concerned, they would walk into the over-the-top-rope melee with prior experience. Gable was a part of two Rumble matches while his partner Otis tops him up with three. So if this session was an indication, it could be interesting to see the Alpha Academy bringing their flair and charisma to one of the most exciting nights in WWE.

Do you think the Alpha Academy will be in the Rumble matches? Will we see Maxxine Dupri’s debut? Sound off in the comments!
