Nirmal: Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy visited the famous Sri Gnana Saraswati temple on Saturday.
When the minister arrived at the temple, he was greeted warmly by officials and priests. The welcome was accompanied by traditional mangala instruments, and the temple’s Executive Officer, Vijaya Rama Rao, was present to receive him.
Inside the temple, the minister performed the Kumkumarchana Puja, a special ritual in the presence of the Goddess. The chief priests explained the unique history and significance of the temple to the minister during his visit.
Later, the minister was honored by the chief priests, including Sanjeeva Pujari and Sthanacharyas Praveen Platak. They gifted him a photo of Goddess Saraswati and a shawl as part of the ceremony held in the Aashirvachana Mandapam.
