STARDOM’s top two championships have changed over the weekend with both having new faces to the gold. This took place over the course of two days for the Sapporo Wonder Rendezvous events.
First, we have the Wonder of Stardom Title which changed hands on July 27. Natsupoi was crowned as new champion after defeating Saori Anou who had just won it back from Mika Iwata 12 days prior. This is Natsupoi’s first time as the white belt champion. She is no stranger to gold tho as she has held several other titles sith the promotion.
Next, the top title changed hands as well on July 28. The World Stardom Championship now belongs to Natsuko Tora. She defeated Maika to end her reign at 212 days. This is Tora’s first time as World of Stardom Champion.
Back in 2021, Tora had challenged Utami Hayashishita for this very same top championship but during the match she tore her ACL and the match had to be stopped. Tora received assistance from Saya Kamitani during the match. After Tora’s win, she announced that Oedo Tai is no more and a new faction will form.

With Konami and Saya Kamitani in the mix, they will start a new unit bringing a new attitude.

Mei Seira also regained the High Speed Championship. This is Seira’s second reign as she defeated Saya Kamitani. Kamitani held the gold for 92 days.
And NEO GENESIS has its first champion, MEI SEIRA! ?
Her High-Speed Title reign earlier this year was cut short, but we expect a stronger run to close out the year ? ?#STARDOM
