A Newcastle United official announcement on Wednesday, has revealed details of the National League Cup quarter-final.

The young Newcastle United stars will play in the last eight on Tuesday 25 February.

They are up against Altrincham in the quarter-finals

As well as the Newcastle United Under 21s, there are also the Under 21s of Man U, Brighton and Leeds in the last eight.

Newcastle United official announcement – 19 February 2025:

‘A date has been set for Newcastle United Under-21s’ National League Cup quarter-final away at Altrincham.

The young Magpies qualified for the knockout stages of the competition as Group C winners after accruing eight points, beating the likes of FC Halifax Town, Tamworth and Gateshead.

Their reward is a last-eight tie against Altrincham, who currently occupy sixth place in the English fifth tier, and the cup contest will take place on Tuesday, 25th February at the J. Davidson Stadium.

Kick-off has been set for 7.30pm (GMT) and tickets are priced at £5 for adults (18+) and £2 concessions. Cash turnstiles will be available.
